Overview
About full dentures
Complete (full) dentures replace all the teeth in the upper or lower arch, or both. Ours are made for patients who want a personalised denture built with premium materials and precision techniques, including where oral structures are difficult, the bite is inconsistent or bone resorption is advanced.
Because your denture is designed, made and fitted by the same prosthetist in our Strathfield laboratory, aesthetics, comfort, fit and function are considered together. A well-made full denture supports your lips and facial muscles as well as replacing teeth.

Is it right for you?
Who this option suits
- You have lost all the teeth in your upper or lower jaw, or both
- Your current full denture is loose, worn or more than a few years old
- You want a natural-looking result that suits your face, not a one-size-fits-all denture
What to expect
Your visits, step by step
Free consultation and examination
We take your history, examine your mouth and explain the options, with a written quote before anything begins.
Impressions and bite records
Accurate impressions and measurements of your jaw relationship are taken so the denture sits correctly.
Try-in
You see the teeth set in wax first, so shape, shade and position can be adjusted before the denture is finished.
Fitting and follow-up
We fit the finished denture, fine-tune any pressure points and show you how to care for it. Adjustments after fitting are part of the service.

Questions
Common questions about full dentures
How long does it take to get full dentures?
It varies with your situation, but most new full dentures involve several appointments over a few weeks for impressions, a try-in and the final fitting. We give you a clear timeline at your free consultation.
Will my full dentures look natural?
Yes. Tooth shape, size, shade and position are chosen to suit your face, and you see and approve a wax try-in before the denture is finished.
Do full dentures need to be replaced?
Gums and bone change over time, so dentures gradually lose their fit. Many patients need a reline or a new denture after several years. A check-up at least every two years keeps the fit and your oral health on track.
Can I claim full dentures on my health fund?
If your extras cover includes dentures, yes. We process HICAPS claims on the spot so you only pay the gap. NSW Health (OHFFSS) vouchers and DVA patients are also welcome.
